Bittersweet, huh. Well, it looks like it has a pretty good recoil pad. Is that a 24 or 26 inch barrel? Guess I better watch the bottle tipping, myself. It ain't worth losing your guns over.

he's drunk at home . and i'm a teetotaler.
and i wont hangout with drunks

it sounds harsh i know but ...thats the way it is.
he knows that so he rarely comes around, except to go shooting on the days that he is sober and now he can never do that again.
wow what a bummer....

oh well.
im keeping the scope i like it.
and selling the rifle to help buy a savage 10-FP .308 24in.bbl.

some hunter would love this rifle i betcha

Wow... do you handload? Perhaps consider making up a reduced load. Or, maybe find a stock with a recoil-reducing system. That 19+ lbs is more than the Mosin!... but I think a Limbsaver could do the trick.

me? the only 3 guns ive sold in my life were to buddies.
so... yeah i guess

i hate selling them.
i bought them in the first place because i wanted them.
the only valid reason to sell is to get cash to buy another cooler one!

you don't get any thing for them if you sell. so might as well keep your guns.
remember, guns are investments.

Guns are investments in future shooting. Reselling them doesn't always pay, but as long as they're a decent gun, keeping them almost always does.
