Remington .45 ammo

Last week I bought some .45 ammo and accidentally picked up a box of Remington 185 grain MC Flat Nose. I have several .45 semi-autos and I'm certain it will shoot in one of them. I have two pistols that have never been fired. a Les Baer 5" and a Kimber Ultra Carry 3".
Would it be detrimental to break-in either of these pistols with this flat nose stuff.

Opinions appreciated. I was thinking of breaking in both of my pistols with 230 grain ball.

Why would it matter? Those two pistols had better shoot anything with .45 ACP written on the bottom for what they cost.
