I understand how you feel but your experence was just the opposite of mine with Remington. They seemed to 'bend over backwards' to get things right.

However, not too long ago I had trouble with another maker. After six shippments to the regional repair center the gun still malfunctioned. The smith told me that the model had the malfunction built in to the design. After a year and numerous calls to the maker, they agreed to fix it at the factory. Yep, it came back the same way. Several long conversations with a factory representative had them agreeing to accept the firearm COD so they could fix it --- again.

At this point I didn't want the gun no matter what they did with it. I disassembled it, wrapped each piece by itself and shipped them COD over a period of a week. I'll bet they still don't have it together.

Angry remington problems

I have loved Remingtons for years, but right now they are going thru some tough times. I tried to get a 700 SPS Varmint .308 they are so high on, and you cant find one. I settled on a Savage 12FV, one helluva rifle, cheaper by about $50 and accurate as can be, I love it, I will now buy more Savage rifles (and I buy 3 or 4 a year.) Remington advertises the Russian made SPR rifle and you cant find them either. they got problems,"you cant sell out of an empty wagon" they better get their act together soon!!!
