Remington Woodsmaster 740?? or 742???

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out exactly what my Dad's old Remington 30-06 was, I can not find any pictures of a gun even close to what his was so I thought I'd post here... His was definately a 740 or 742, However, it
also had the checkering on the stock and forearm, It also had an
engraving of a Bear on one side and a Big Buck on the other side. If anyone has a similar gun please either post the picture or send me a copy, I would Really appreciate it. I'm trying to find one to buy since my sister stole mine right after my dad died before I could get there. Can't explain my grief on that but I really need to know what model I'm looking for.
