speedmaster 552 can't remove barrel

I have a remington speedmaster 552 anniversery ed , i cant seem to get the barrel off,
i have the online manual that has been passed around, but it isn't clear about this part,

i have the trigger assembly out, i have the stamped cover plate off,, i have the foregrip off, but i do not see how the barrel is held in place, and it is rock solid
what am i missing?


i want to take it off to clean it, it looks like this is the only way, in order to get a rod in there,
if there is another way to clean the barrel without removing it let me know.

Take it outside and spray some liquid wrench or other penetraiting oil in the reciever where the barrel goes in. Sometimes carbon and other crud can act like cement. Just keep working with it.
