| Sportsman 58 Magnum question I have a Sportsman 58 Magnum 12 ga. I'm thinking of selling. I paid $250 for it years back. The condition is 98% blueing and stock is very good. (Only one touch up mark on the barrel and one little mark on the forearm) Not vent ribbed. Before selling it, I'm trying to find out a few things. I think it is near the end of the run as the serial # is close to the end of what Remington lists. (1966) 1. I have 2 barrels.. one mod and one full magnum.. did they come originally with 2 barrels? I never see this listed anywhere. 2. How do I tell what grade it is? 3. I read someone's selling ad saying there were few magnums made and their asking price is $475.. just talk??? The dealer who's shop I want to sell through says it should bring $199 in 98%... according to his bluebook. That's why I want to know more about it since I think he's looking at the price of a regular 12 gauge. Last edited by bomar_97; 07-25-2008 at 08:48 AM. |

| Bomar the blue book says that in 98% the plain barrlel version sells for $250 and add 5% for the magnum. It was mfg. from 56-63 approx. 271,000 made. hope this helps. steve
