Rossi- .38/.357?

I'm talking to someone about trading for their rossi .38. I'm just wondering if/which .38 models can shoot .357? I think I've only ever seen rossi's in .38
thanks!

Is it a rifle or revolver?I have had rossi revolvers in 38spl and 357 mag.So they make both.If it is a rifle I would think it is 38/357mag.

its a revolver. Im starting to think its the other way around; the .357 can shoot .38, because the .357 is a longer case

.357 will fire .38's but fire many of them and you'll have to clean the carbon ring out of the chambers or you'll have difficult extraction of fired .357 cases. .357's won't chamber in a modern .38 spcl. If it's not marked .357 it's not a .357

Rossi offers 7 different models of revolvers.4 of which are .357 magnums,and 3 are .38+P.The .357 models are the 461/462 2" barrel,the 97104 4" barrel,and the 97206 6" barrel.They are all $300-$500 new.I have the 462 and it is a really good gun.

I'm glad this thread is still lingering on the first page...
because I'm now wondering if .38 s&w will fit in my revolver (.38sp, mod 851 for those just tuning in)
.38 s&w do look like auto rounds, but have a slight lip on the cartridge
anyway, thanks for any info/help
