customizing my 10/22

My 10/22 hasnt been customized yet, but i have a few questions of what u think i should do....

http://www.deltaforce.com/catalog/pg25.html

http://www.mwgco.com/Merchant2/merch...ES/MWG-MZ0-022

If you scroll down on the first page, you will see an MG42 dress up kit!
Do you think i should get this, or no its a waste.

On the second page the bullpup stock.. I like this one because it reminds me of the Styer AUG.

But i dont see how i could aim with either of these stocks on my gun.
AND
The actuall guns that these stocks resemble are fully automatic, yet I dont have any idea how to make mine full auto....

What do you suggest.....?????

#1 first and foremost, dont even consider trying to make a gun full auto- the ATF frowns upon this. now here's my own personal advice, all these little dress up kits to make a 10/22 craptical or look like another type of rifle only serve to detract from the accuracy and shootability of the rifle. if you care to really get into building/modifying a 10/22 check out www.rimfirecentral.com

*chuckles to himself* the moment i saw "customizing" i KNEW you were going to say or link SOMETHING to do with the bullpup stock. as for making them full auto... give up that idea right now. any way you could do it would not be classifiable as legal (short of making a gatling gun of sorts) personally the most id do is get a folding synthetic stock. i liked mine but something was wrong with it so it didnt fit the gun. gives you the handle underneath more like an assault rifle or a pistol and gives a bit better aim in my opinion

In reguards to the bullpup stock it's just another thing that would have to be taken apart to clean your weapon. Also some of the reviews that I have read about them are less then flattering. Being molded plastic you'll first have to trim the edges inorder for it to go togather. Also, the sights are not as accurat as the Ruger factory sights. I have not seen any reviews on the MG42 dress up kit, but I can't imagin the their sighting system would be much better. You have a fine rifle as it is, and personaly I would not change a thing. If you want to do it just for looks then that is your thing.

If you want to start with a little custom work, this would be a better place to start.

I really like the one that is like an HK. We have a Monte Carlo on, because it is very confortable shooting. We also have a spare AK-47 like folding stock and some banana mags
