Ruger Red Boxes

As may have been noticed I like to get boxes and manuals for my pistols and revolvers and I 've run across a problem.
What is the difference between the red boxes and the usual yellow? Were the red boxes for special models or something?

I know that the RED boxes were in the 70's,as far as 1976...all the "200th year" liberty rugers came in red boxes, but I can't recall (due to CRS) when they switched to the Black/yellow box. The early boxes were White...some were Silver With green wreaths...some had Black wreaths and in 1996 Ruger Started shipping all guns with lockable cases!
