Here are a few pieces I am very happy with.
KP-90 with saltwater coating. This baby has been carried so many places with the family and has some wear. This is exceptional for being down at the coast.
SP101 Stainless - Once again this is a carry gun that my father and I switch with all the time. Awesome piece to carry with. Had the tail cut off for DAO. This has to be one of my favorite revolvers of all time.
Mini-14 GB - This baby had a special bake-on coating my dad refinished the gun with. This is one of the older models 181- series. This baby shoots like a dream, and is very accurate.
I know this isn't a lot of guns, but this is the guns that I come into contact with on a regular bases. I just wanted to say...thanks Ruger for making quality pieces! | I have both the 4" and 6" models and just love them. I also have a Redhawk in .45 Colt and that thing has the best double action trigger I own. I think my last count on Rugers was around... 23?

i had a mini 14 and while it was reliable enough, i couldn't make it shoot straight. like 5" groups at 100 yards, bah, be it the gun or me, it's gone and i'm not. i did just pick up this little honey though.
it's so new, i dont even have it yet. i should be getting the call to pick her up later this week when the transfer clears. i gotta admit i am pretty excited about this, i very rarely buy a new gun.

I have a Mini-14 181 series, a Mark I, Mark II, Mark III, 22/45, and a SP101.
No problems.
I like the Mini-14 more than my Bushmaster Disapator AR-15 which cost considerably more..
Great firearms and a great company.

I have three .
A KP95DC, KP89, and a P97.
All three do as they were intended: put lead downrange without giving a fuss!!

my 22-45 was a pain to put back together. it took me 3 attempts to do it right. my security six is a piece of cake to break down. i guess thats why i own more ruger wheel guns than autos. "simple things for simple minds"

I've shot a few Ruger semi-automatic pistols and liked them alright. Guns like the P85 are thick and chunky in your hand and handle well despite being bit too wide for what I'd want to carry around. I also shot a P95 which was a smaller 9mm and never witnessed any of these guns jamming. The only Ruger I own is the Single Six in .22 WMR that I just got and it symbolizes what Ruger is all about. It's just a well-made, rugged, and dependable firearm that get's the job done. Rugers don't seem like the type of gun that people constantly drool in amazement over nor do they scoff at them like you would a High Point. It's just a good middle-class firearm. In some cases, much more than that.
If I had to pick another Ruger right now, I'd probably want a good solid .44 Magnum like the Blackhawk which was the first and only .44 Mag I've ever fired. I'd look for a newer model without that irritating squared edge in the back of the trigger guard. And if I didn't already have my Smith 686, I'd give the Security Six or GP100 a try.

I've got 2 #1's and a Mini-14 and a Super Blackhawk, and have had zero problems with any of them. I just wish they were cheaper so I could own a few more.

Got a P85, a KP89DC, a KP944DC, and a SBH. Probably would have had a GP100 if I didn't already have a Taurus 66, which was my first centerfire pistol and I have a special attachment to.

He had the same results. So it sits in its plastic case at the moment. It vexes me, since it is my wife's favorite .22. She had to shoot another one yesterday and complained about not having her pistol working yet. | They are tricky to get back together the first few tries. There is a "hangy down piece" that goes in only one way. That way is to hold the gun upside-down so that piece goes into the slot made for it. Also, new ones are very tight and snug fitting and tapping the main post with a plastic headed hammer is OK to do. Good news is, after you tear down and reassemble them a few times the RIGHT way, it gets a lot easier. Sometimes it takes a few tries but if you watch how it comes apart, you'll see where the hangy part goes. |

I bought a MII when I was 11 or 12. It went through hundreds of rounds if not more. Once in awhile it would jam, but it was accurate and rarely cleaned or maintained.
Traded it in on Super Single six. Reliable, hard to hold due to small grip.
44 Blackhawk with a trigger job. Hated the grip, sold it.
345- Good shooting, fits my hand.
Model 77 270- Love it, one shot one kill machine.
Next Ruger will probably be the B-1 in 338 Win Mag.
Love them Rugers!

Rugers are very good. I've got an old mark 1 standard, 10/22, and a P89DC. The only one that ever gave me any trouble was tha p89, when I made the mistake of using USA brand mags. Soon as I threw those away and went back to factory mags., every thing was OK. It doe's hit about a foot low at 20 to 30 feet, but groups good other wise. I just have to ajust the way I aim.

Same happens to me with my p89 but, I just aim a tad bit higher.

I've had Rugers since 1960. Never had a bad one. At present I have 2-P97DC's, a P90DC, P345, Single-Six, Bearcat, 22/45, and 10/22. Ruger has proven it quality over the years. My favorites are:
