| I guess it would seem so but that's not the case at all. The only one I had an issue with was the #3 that even after professional work wouldn't give me MOA consistently at a 100 yds. In retrospect wish I would have kept the action and discarded everything else. I suppose I could go down the list and give the pros and cons but there were a lot more pros so I'll leave it at that. Another thing...I'm glad I didn't keep track of the money I lost during my gun, not just Ruger, trading years.

| The only Ruger I have left is a New Model SBH with a 7 1/2" barrel. Prior Rugers included a P-85, KP89DC, KP944DC, and an Old Model SBH with a 10" barrel. |

| Here's an old target I dug up shot with the 10" Mark II and 2x Burris. Respectable I think considering there's no defined aiming point except for the eye/ear base on the head shots. ![]() At 50 yds with a more sight friendly target. ![]()

The rest of my Rugers have been great shooters: couple of P95s, couple of P97s and a P345. Still have a Ruger MkI that I purchased in the early 70's and my "old model" Super Single Six along with a 3" SP101. -- Mike

| Only 1 Ruger pistol now, a .22 semi-auto that had a lot of rounds thru the barrel with zero complaints. Two mini 14s and a 10-22 that belongs to my wife. I once had a 93DC that was a wonderful pistol that I traded for a Colt officers model (revolver) in 357 with a scope . I believe Ruger make the most under rated weapons on the market. Great products and good prices. |

| I picked up a Ruger P90 online for $250. When it showed up it was dirty but still cycled. I gave it a good cleaning and put a Houge grip on it and it shoots GREAT!!! Safety likes to gum-up after a couple 100 rounds but I keep some CLP with me to take care of that problem. Mags are decently priced and cycles anything I put through it. Never had a problem going BOOM!!! ____________________ "If you can read this, thank a teacher; If you can read this in English, thank a soldier" |

| 10-22. I love it. Accurate out to around 100 yards, on a nice clam day, with iron sights. Reliable as all get out, unless I put that 35 round magazine too far in the magwell. Eats anything I feed it.....

| .358 shouldn't knock em down, it should knock them senseless, up in the air, then down.

| P-85 Mk. II SS, P-95 SS, Old Model ('56 issue) Single Six 5" w/stag grips. New Mod Single Six 6.5" convertible w/fancy wood grips, GP 100 blued 4" w/short shroud, 50th anniv Mk II, Glossy SS Blackhawk .45 Colt 4~5/8", Mini 14, 40th anniv. 10/22. No complaints about any of them. The GP has fixed sights but is right on accurate. The Rugers are hard to beat. Try some Cor-Bon in that .44. Powerful & accurate. I met Peter Pi in the '80s and encouraged him to do his dream of making high performance ammo. Nice guy. He wasn't sure if a market would exist with gun laws the way they were going. He makes some darn good ammo now. |

| Best way to reassemble the Mk II is put the pin in and turn it up side-down to make the little pin fall in place, then fold it up. Works for me! |

| My Little Ruger... ...NOT LITTLE!!!! My name says it all. I have a Ruger Blackhawk .357mag with a 6 1/2" barrel. I've added a clamp-on Weaver style scope mount and a 4x32 NcStar Illuminated reticle, long eye relief scope. At 50yds with 158gr JHP, she'll do a 4" grouping every time. Bt the way, the clamp-on mount works great and stays tight. The only pic that I have right now is my avatar. Sorry!!! |

| Once owned: Ruger Mark II- Was to hard to reassemble, traded in for a Browning Buckmark P85 9mm- Never was any good at accuracy, traded for an FN Hi-Power KP89DC 9mm- Better accuracy, but sloppy trigger. Part of trade below. KP944DC 40 S&W- Very accurate, but bad trigger pull caused flyers. Traded this and the KP89DC in for a Sig P229 with both 40 S&W and 357 SIG barrels Ruger Super Blackhawk Stainless 44 mag. Scoped this baby and was deadly accurate with it. Had to sell when times got a little tough. Still own: New Model Super Blackhawk 44 mag. Only Ruger I still have left. Darned accurate, great trigger. |

| I have a stainless 10/22 with an international stock and 4x Simmons scope. I love that gun! When i first had the gun it would jam, but then i learned how to tighten the rotary mags and let it break-in and now it rarely malfunctions. Haven't had a chance to hunt with it yet, but i know it has the accuracy and reliability to perform well in the field. Hopefully i can add some pics because this is a really unique 10/22. |
