Yep, you need a couple of .22 LR’s, a pistol and a rifle.
Well let’s see,
Single Six .22LR / 22Mag
MkII Gov’t Target Model .22LR
Blackhawk .44 Mag
MkII Model 77 .25-06
No. 1A .257 Roberts
No. 1B .270 Weatherby Mag
There isn’t a bad shooter in the bunch. After a little trigger work the 3 rifles shoot MOA.

My brother somehow now "owns" my ruger 10/22 which he uses for squirrels, and now I only own a Ruger superblackhawk, its the hunter model and it is a blast to take out and blow up concrete blocks milk jugs etc. I am currently looking for either a gp100 4in or a security six.
I really wish the mini 14 wasnt so expensive and there 9mms were a little more appealing

4" Redhawk .44 mag and just picked up a KGP-161 6" .357 mag. I almost bought a Hawkeye, but went with the Rem 700.

Started out with a Model 77 in .270 Win. some 30 yrs. ago. Good shooting serviceable gun. Don't remember why or how I got rid of it.
Picked up a Ruger #1A Light Sporter in 7X57 Mauser. Gorgeous gun. Shot like crap. Strung so badly I dubbed it my "giraffe gun," you could hold anywhere on them tall long critters and hit with that piece of junk. Heard Ruger was happy with sending out barrels on the 1A Light Sporter that would do 3" at 50 yards. Warned a buddy about it, but he bought it anyway. Later found out he wasn't happy with it either. I'll stick with Remington. My old 788 carbine in .308 shoots just fine thank you. Hey, you asked. |

Very early Bearcat dating to about 1963 and I am original owner. I have retired it to the safe as it is too valuable to shoot. It's still about 95%. If I get the urge, I'll buy a new Bearcat.
Single Six convertible in stainless. I love it.
Newest model Mini-14 with the new contour barrel (NOT the NRA model). This one is in its waiting period here in Pelosi-Land.
My son has a stainless Vaquero in .357 and put aftermarket staghorn grips on it. It's a beauty.

My 2 Rugers have a special place in my gun cabinet and my heart...
Ruger Model 44 Autoloading Carbine...Deerstalker...10/44, whatever we're calling it this week. Bought it on my 18th birthday. Not the first gun I ever shot, but the first gun I ever owned. Still have her, still shoot her, still love her. Will never give her up.
Ruger P85. Bought her on my 21st birthday (seeing a trend?). I have sent more rounds downrange with this gun than any other gun I've ever owned or borrowed. She still shoots great and shows almost no signs of wear. Amazing gun the P85. My wife doesn't like her though because she shoots south-paw and the last time we went to the range, my P85 decided to eject hot brass directly into her face. I think she was jealous.
First gun I ever fired was a 10/22. Can't even remember what age I was. I need to add one of those to my collection.

Not sure if I answered this or not.
I have three.
10/22 Deluxe Sporter which I never use because it is such a PITA to clean.
Super Single Six stainless with movable sights (hence "Super"), 6.5" barrel and Hi-Viz front sight.
Mark III Hunter, stainless, with 7" fluted and crowned barrel, movable sights w/ HiViz front sight, checkered exotic grips.
All are 0.22LR except the Single Six has an extra cylinder for 0.22WMR.

1 - RUGER P89 9mm - I love this gun. People say ruger 9mm suck, I bought mine 12 years ago have at least 4500 rounds of CHEAP reloads through it. The only problem I have ever had is I once didn't get the extractor put back in all the way and it took me 3 months to figure out why it would jam while ejecting. Not a CCW gun by any means, but I like that I am a big guy and have big hands, with the addition of some custom grips it fits me well and is as reliable as a gun could be.
2 - 10/22 - bought this last year from my boss, it was in the box marked 1983 NEVER been fired, can you believe it??? What can I say about this gun it works on time every time on target
I WANT
1 - single six convertable .22/.22 mag
2 - vacquero or blackhawk

Down to only 3 Rugers. Super Blackhawk Hunter, Super Blackhawk with full treatment by MagNaPort (double ports, velvet hone finish w/ mirror polished accents, full action job, reverse crown muzzle, jeweled hammer/trigger, custom sights, matched chambers/forcing cone, etc) and a 7 1/2" Blackhawk in 357 Maximum. I'll post pics as soon as I figure out the system.
