I have a stainless snubnosed Police Service Six in .357. Built like a tank and just as heavy.

I bought my wife a 4" stainless security six 28 years ago, I don't know how many thousands of rounds we've put through it over the years, and it still looks and shoots just fine, it's her first choice for dealing with various two or four legged varmints!

| Security Six about to come back
About 15 years ago I was at a gun show in Miami with my son. He wanted an auto. I spotted a stainless Security Six in mint condition. I bought it, $290.00. Needless to say my son now has it. recently, I purchased a Taurus PT 940. It is a decent gun but nothing spectacular. Howecer, my son likes it and wants it. The deal which he likes. An even trade. since he lives several states away it will take us a while to get together. However, the trade will be made. I hate to take advantage of the lad, especially my own son, but a deal is a deal. I will get that beautiful security six stainless with a 6" barrel, and he gets the Taurus. God, what a dad I am. |

I , er, I mean we (my wife and I) have 2 Ruger .357mags. Mine is a blued New model Blackhawk 6 1/2" to which I've added a Weaver clamp-on scope mount and a NcStar 4x32 long eye relief scope. I use it for deer hunting. And my wife has a Stainless Security-Six 4" with factory Pachmayer grips. It was her service piece when she worked for Loomis Fargo Armored Car Service. I keep both guns in excellent shape and both shoot like they just came out of the box. I had pics stored in my computer until it crashed. I'll try to post some later.

Two Blackhawks in .357 are on my immediate list for purchase. Since the blued and stainless are the same price, going stainless.

A GP100, fixed sight, four inch blue with full underlug. I call it the Roadmaster, because it's like a black 1952 Buick Roadmaster.
