| Bought A New Ruger SR9 My local gunshop got in the new Ruger SR9 with the blackened stainless slide, price was 429.00 well i bought it, haven't fired a handgun in years, after i left the police department the Glock 23 left to. I got real partial to the Glock 23 over the years and when i went through police academy i was top gun out of 35 students, i just haven't had the desire to own a handgun since so its gonna be hard on me to get use to this new Ruger, but after a box or 2 of ammo i will know if its a keeper or not.

| follow up two-70: do follow up with range reports. In other post; I've expressed my interest. Research has the SR9 to be better than most thought. Ruger build tough units, and this one looks to continue the tradition. Thanks

| The SR9 is going to be a big success for Ruger. I've owned Rugers for years including 10 or 12 P-Series which I still have, the SR looks to be just as reliable and gets better the more you shoot it. I found one of the "First Run" SR's with the knife and a low S/N. |
