Looking for SR9 info

I am thinking of getting an SR9 and I am wondering if any of you have RL experience with one. The reviews seem good (nothing is perfect) and would I would love some RL feedback.
Thanks.

I have an SR9 that I've had for several months and have about 800 or so rounds thru with absolutely no problems! No jams, no FTEs - flawless so far. I have a concealed carry permit and I have carried it quite a bit - a bit large for many as a carry weapon but fairly light at about 25 ounces.

The magazines can be hard to load unless you use the included mag loader and press down on the tip of the top round - I've heard the magazines have been changed on recent production models to make them easier to load. The 17+1 capacity is nice!

Some people have reported cases of peening on the top of the barrel, and a few have any had some corrosion on the frame of some of the early model guns - apparently there was some process early on where a few of the SR9s weren't dried properly...? but I haven't had any problems with mine at all. Ruger service is usually really good, they've been correcting the problems that have surfaced.

Good luck whatever you decide.
