| I own two #1s and this is a very common "problem" with shooting this great rifle. depending on what you have as a scope, it might be just as easy to do as sell33 has said and get a scope with longer eye relief. I found, for me, a good compromise between sufficient eye relief and a scope that didn't appear too large for my tastes turned out to be 2 Leupolds, one a 4X on a 7x57 #1A, and the other a 2-7x33 on a #1RSI in .270. If yours is the #1B, or standard rifle, a larger scope should still look fine and Leupold's VXII 3-9 and 4-12 still have very good eye relief, as does a Zeiss Conquest (4"). Of course, offset rings may be a better choice for you. Good luck |
