mini 14..Bear ammo

Hi guys...Have any of you all shot silver bear ammo in a mini 14 with any problems. My AR seems to be ok with it. I do run a bore snake about every 100 rounds or so. Any info appreciated.

Yeah, I had a mini-14 for 20 years, it never jammed with anything, ever. I mostly shot my own handloads with military 5.56 brass I picked up when I was in the service.

The early Mini-14 (Worlds Most Expensive Plinker! as advertised by Ruger) had problems with mil-spec as the engineers at Ruger used the tighter .223 remington reamers before later upgrading for the slightly larger 5.56 NATO

Hey guys....I went to the range this weekend and shot the silver bear 223, it works very good in my Ar15 and the mini14 Ranch as well. No malfunctions and pretty accurate. We have a local man store with the silver bear for 125.00 for 500 rounds.
