Ruger 22-auto Pistol?
SERIAL# 15-17XXX,ANY IDEA YEAR OF MANUFACTURE?

Based on the book "Ruger and His Guns" possibly between 1978-1979.

You can call Ruger at 603-865-2442. Ask for "records" and they may be able to tell you the month and year based on the whole serial number.
