Okay, maybe I'm somewhat ignorant, but what's the point of a social group? No criticism intended, but what purpose do those serve that is not met by the forums here?

This site has a very complex network of forums and threads. I feel like I've only explored about 3% of it, and have trouble finding enough time to keep up with that little bit!
