Looking good. And where did you get the scope mount you have there? Link if possible?

Nice SBH, that is one beefy looking scope mount. I've been very happy with mine. I've upgraded the cyl pin and ejector rod housing, next is a NMBH hammer so I can add a side cocker.

I have a big, over the shoulder, hang on my side, holster. Can't remember where I got it, though.

I have a Uncle Mikes chest carry with a full flap. Keeps it dry when hunting wet brush, I'm in Oregon, the brush is always wet.

I have a 6 1/2" Blackhawk chambered in .41 mag with the same setup. Works great for White tail hunting.

I just installed the same base on my New Model Super Blackhawk last night. The screw that went in place of the removed rear sight screw also had a spacer(or bushing) that belongs between the new base and the top of the receiver. Fits great. Now I just have to find optics I like. Thinking of Reflex sight.

I've got a ruger Bisley Hunter blackhawk in 41 mag, 71/2" with a Leupold M8 2 power. It's my pride and joy. Easy to see through the scope but it is heavy, so when I go hog hunting I hope I have a tree to rest it on. Here it is and my Smith & Wesson model 57 41 mag

Sorry I'm new to this photo bucket thing, I didn't mean to put all these on there.

now I have something else I need to buy. I have wanted to mount a scope on my 7.5" Blackhawk but didn't want to drill and tap it for the mount. I will have to try this out. That way if I don't like it I can return it to stock without having the holes.
