I once owned one and it was definitely reliable and

accurate although the recoil just about killed me. I now mostly shoot
.243 and 7mm/08.

You cannot ask for more reliability than a No 1 !! At 9 lbs the rifle is a brick to carry, but you'll definitely appreciate the weight with regards to recoil !!

Interesting point about the weight. I wish mine had weighed 25 or 30 pounds. I might still have it.

I am currently keeping one for a friend chambered in .416 Rigby. I have been impressed. The gun is more than accurate enough for big game hunting, and the weight of the gun keeps the recoil down, also, the gun is very appealing to the eye. Overall, the gun is awesome, and the action is built like a tank. .
