Ruger PC4 carbine advice needed

My dealer has a LEO turn in PC4.. Better than 90+% condition. He wants $485 w/one 10 rnd. clip... I've got first refusal.... Any info or thoughts on the deal and the gun will be greatly appreciated.. I own a Hi-Point 995 and like it. Can get the same in 40 cal for less than half the cost of the Ruger...HELP

I'd get that hi-point in .40 cal. I have no complaints about mine except for magazine capacity. You just have to get used to carrying extra magazines. You can get a lot of magazines, and still keep it well under $485. And that Hi-Point will be new with warranty.

Just my .02

Well it's mine now.. Did a bit of research and there were not a whole heck of a lot made. Mine is mid series. Will definatly be worth more than the hi=point down the road. Only problem is the safe is getting awfully crowded.. Sell something or buy another safe?????? No brainer new safe on the way. Have a great day guys.

That shoots the .40 S&W?
Nice in the pistol, should be nice in the carbine.
Ever shoot the predisessor to the .40S&W?
The 10mm? Kicked like a mule,much more than a .45acp.
Was suitable for hunting, but too much recoile for thr FBI so they went for a cut down version, the .40S&W.
Hope you enjoy that .40 PC4,it should be very effective.

I got it cause I do like the 40 S&W cartridge. I've got one of the Sigmas in 40 and love it. Prefer a tad more trigger pull. The PC4 is an awsome shooter as well. We went to 40 cal as our service weapon. I had a HI-Point 995 and to me it was about as useless a gun as any I've ever owned or seen. About as accurate as throwing the bullet left handed..

Add shipping and ffl fee and you're pretty darn close to what I paid. Would NEVER buy a weapon without having it in my hands first. Besides that my MOM & POP shop has not one time been more $$ in the long run than Broker or BIG BOX... Only buy on line or catalog for minor stuff..

PC 4 Carbine

I agree with you. I just bought one today at a store for $495 with one mag. I did not feel the need to haggle over price. It is mint in box though missing a manual. I have no doubt it will be a good purchase and "hold" its value. In this caliber and price range, it is the only game in town. Going to run some 135gr through it tomorrow.

I would like to apologize if I offended anyone by going on a bout my Uzi carbine.
I like it to the point of obsession and do tend to run on about it,sorry.
