im looking to buy a ruger 10/22. i would like to stay on the cheaper side. stock shape/condition dosent matter as i want to put a svd stock on it. 100-200 or less. i relly dont want to go buy a brand new one if im going to be replaceing the tockc and doing a few other mods to it. thank you

? go look at a pawn shop or one of your local gun shops. they should have a used one under 200.

| Troll the pawn shops and gunstores plus read the
newspaper ads. Often a 10/22 can be had in really great shape for not so much money. Also, just put out the word locally you are on the lookout. Just don't rush to buy the first one that comes up. Take some time. |

alright thanks im glad noone suggested going to walmart the one i saw there looked like a cheap piece of s**t. ill try giong back to the local shops they might have gotten one by now. thanks again

i went to one of my local shops today. they didnt have a 10/22 but they did have a m1carbine there for 459 not what i went looking for but ill be back to pick it up when i get paid.

Just get a new one. They can be had for about $200. I got mine for $210 out the door. Call around.

got my last one at a gun show only wanted the recever and bolt after telling the seller i did not want his 100 rd clip over and over bought it for 100.00 got almost 1000.00 in that gun now its a fne shooting .17hm2 if your going to build it up forget the stock forget the blue look for a good base and dont be afrad to insult the seller

New ones at Bass Pro Shop for $180, other big box sporting goods stores still under $200 (Houston, TX).

If you can buy 1 new for around $200 , go for it. You can always sell the stock and what ever else you upgrade and get part of your money back. let us know what your doing,,, it helps keep me from starting another and getting in trouble. I just refinished a perfectly good stock, 'cause I was bored and needed to do something?? |
