| Mini-14 Factory Folding Stock
Hi everyone. I just purchased a Mini-14 stainless ranch with factory synthetic stock in near mint condition for $450. I hope I didnt get robbed. Anyways, my question is, can I use a factory folding stock on it? The synthetic stock doesnt come from the factory with the stock reinforcement (#KMS00700) or the stock reinforcement screws and washers. I can purchase these items from Brownells for a relatively cheap price. Is that all I would need to put a Mini-14 that came from the factory with a synthetic stock onto the factory folder? If so, how do these mate up to a wood stock? Nothing Ive read to date explains or shows how. Thanks!

I DON'T THINK YOU CAN GET A RUGER FACTORY FOLDING STOCK FROM BROWNELLS, IF IT LOOKS LIKE THIS, THEN I STAND CORRECTED. |

You can get the parts not on a synthetic stock at Brownells, not the stock itself. The parts not on a synthetic stock are circled in the attached illustration. Im wondering if I bought these parts I could put them on a factory folder and use the gun I have that came with synthetic stock to mate them together.
