I'd like to see the same gun offered in .45 ACP like the S&W Model 22.

I know thanks for the advice! I would love a 22 DA........who wants to deal with the SA single six? Ejecting and loading each round one at a time?????????? Who has the time for that!
With the rise in ammo prices there has to be a huge market for 22s in the present and very near future!
also have to agree on outragous prices on the Smith22 revolvers, you kidding me that much for a 22?

I have a SP101 in stainless, in .22. Ruger stopped making this little sweet DA revolver and I paid 475 dollars for it about 12 years ago. I hear that they are going for 600 to 800, if you can find one. I'll keep it until the day I die.

because it is a S.D.weapon and most folks want something a heluva lot bigger than a .22.

i would like a sp-101 snubby in .22 just for practice and then carry my real one for S.D.

i doubt if i would be willing to pay much though....

There ya go Swede Steve. A 5" 8 shot stainless version. If S&W can do it why can't Ruger.
