Do not like any of rugers products , just sold my 10/22. .22 target pistol is a U22 berreta, mini 14 don't want to hear it. ruger lcp , didn't it get recalled right after the release , should have been made by micro$oft.
May I ask why? Im not a big ruger fan, but I havent ever owned one either. I do like the Model77, and know its a great gun. My Marlin will outshoot almost any modified 10/22 though, and is reliable as hell.

I am a semi atuo fan and there guns were bulky and light the two don't mix. I don't mind bulky but have some weight to it and I don't mind light but reduce the size. I think ruger is run by commies, just kidding LOL. The 10/22 is one of the most over rated firearm ever. buckmarks try to clean one of them , not to user friendly , most i encounter with buckmarks say shoot it until it stops working then clean it!

Same thing. May we ask why you dont like Ruger.

Why try and convince you when you've already said you don't like any of their products and you already sold you 10/22? Just pointing out the obvious and asking out of curiosity. lol Is there another Ruger you're interested in/looking at?
As for the LCP, yes, they recalled it. All I can say is, they took the initiative and did it without having to be told to, they paid for shipping both ways, for EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM, and problem was and is now resolved.
They do have outstanding customer service. As for the 10/22, there's a ton of after market stuff out there if that's your thing.
Also, what was the reason you sold the 10/22 if I might ask? I mean, just because it was over rated isn't a real reason. It's the truth to be honest. They are over rated. But that doesn't mean or say they don't work well.
And FWIW, ALL .22s jam up after a while. It's due to the dirty ammo, not the rifle/pistol. MHO anyways.
And I also read where someone suggested using a DRY-LUBE in the Ruger 10/22 action. Nothing for the dirty powder to stick to like there is with a CLP or other lube that has or leaves a residue. I haven't tried it yet, but I did buy and have some Hornady ONE-SHOT Gun Cleaner/Dry-Lube and plan on trying it.

My Mini 14 and 30 are nifty and very reliable guns, but are only designed for limited ranges.
As in corporate mergers, having unrealistic "Expectations" are not worth anything.

Maybe I read your post wrong. Buckmarks are not made by Ruger, they're made by Browning, and I happen to know they are very accurate, and reliable sidearms. I have shot many a ground squirrel at 50yrds with one. Put thousands of rounds through one, and have encountered NO problems. And yes, its a fact, the 10/22 is overated..but is in no way a bad firearm. The mini 14 has done well for itself, and I see no reason to be disgruntled unless you think they're a sniper rifle, in which case I too would be dissapointed. I dont know squat about the other firearms you listed. Ruger has done well for themselfs, if they were no good word would get around and people wouldent buy them...why is it they are SO popular? Hmm...should we give that a second thought.
Hey, if you have convinced yourself you dont like them, and have sold all your Rugers why would you WANT someone to convince you otherwise. You stated that they're too light, too bulky, unattractive...I cant change your vision, and sense I am assuming thats all your going off of, there's really NO way to help you here:]

I like the Ruger MKI and II and the 10/22 is pretty good, not incredible but pretty good. Ruger revolvers are hell for stout but they don't float my boat. Wouldn't mind having a Redhawk but that's about it. Wouldn't bust my butt to get one tho.
The only Ruger I own is a Ruger P85 Mark II, 9mm pistol. (thats before they renamed it cuz the original P85 had alot of issues and people wouldn't buy the improved mark II. I think its called the p89 now) Yes, they are bulky for a 9mm, but its been VERY reliable and is VERY accurate. A SEAL instructor once hijacked it at the range and played with it for a while, commenting that the safety systems, fit, and ease of control were very sweet.
I know Ruger makes some sweet wheel guns, but I've never owned any. My father did and I always enjoyed them. Can't comment on their rifles because I've never owned one. But, your issue may be like my issue about Glocks. I hate em. lol Shot a few and never owned one and never will. To each his own.
I didn't know that you could own guns unless one of them was a 10/22...?????????? I could be mistaken, but I think thats Federal Law or maybe International Law.
I have a Ruger 10/22 which works just fine for me, and I have a Ruger revolver which I love as well.
Have they had recalls on some of their products yea, but as previously stated the company recognized this, and paid to have everything including shipping fixed. Plus they sent out a bunch of extra accessories for your trouble. There customer service is good too.
Every company has product recalls, and a lot of them arnt nearly as customer friendly about them as Ruger is.
I purchased a gp-100 back in 02&a 10/22 back in 07&both guns have function just fine,I just bought aS&W 22lr revlover,if ruger had made a d/a 22lr revolver I problay would have purchased it instead of the S&W,just my .02 cents.
