Sig 522 LR: A .22 LR Sig 550 clone

Sig have launched the Sig 552. It is a .22 Long Rifle version of the 5.56mm Sig 556, which in turn is a civilian clone of the Sig 550. Externally it looks identical to the Sig 556 Classic with the swiss-style folding stock and handguard.

Like the 10/22 it has a loose chamber so it can feed most any ammo. I would think the shooter would be the limiting factor on this heavy, long barreled pistol. I'll stick to my MK III bull barrel. They are kinda cool looking in a way.

Just wondering out loud. Looks like it could be fun on the range. Just another 22 to shoot along with my MK III Bull !!
