what is a good price on a stanless ruger mini14

hi guy's i was just wondering if you could tell me what a good price is on a good condition stanless mini14 with scop rings. i have a chance to buy one for i think $400.00 ca do you think that i should buy it for that it would be a real help thanks.

not a super deal but a fair price in my opinion. I think they go for 6-700 new and the scope mount is about $40.

$400 is a decent price for one. Is it one of the older ones or newer ones? If you can get the first 3 digits of the serial number, look it up on Ruger's website. They can tell you what year it was made. You can look up the twist rate of the barrel based on the year. They range from 1 in 7" to 1 in 10". And it's "politician."
