41 Mag out of a 7 1/2" barrel is a MoFo, it'll do anything you want it to do.

The Leupold M8 2x will permit you to shoot anything you need to be shooting with that combo, HOWEVER I would recommend getting an 2.5x-8x. That way you'll start out with it turned all the way down until you get used to shooting with handgun scopes. Later, once you get used to handgun scopes, you'll be able to crank the power up when shooting smaller targets from steady rest. I'm an HUGE .41 magnum fan myself.

I'm down to just 1 .41mag. It's a Ruger Redhawk with 5.5" barrel and shoots SWEET! I guess I'll have to be happy with just it for now.

Ruger Bisley 41 mag

Well I put a luepold m8 2X on her. Yesterday was the second time out with her. After 100 rounds I was putting six rounds in 4" circle at 100 yards. I'm very pleased with this combo, after having a few bad Ruger 44's that I couldn't sell fast enough. But I have to say my Smith & Wesson model 57 in 41 Magnum with open sights performs just about as well as the scoped Bisley.

Gotta love the .41 magnum. I'm down to 2 of them at the moment.

What year is the gun. Currently it only comes in blue at .44 and .45 cal. I like the looks of it and am planning on getting a .44 Ruger myself. Leaning towards the Super Blackhawk, but the Bisley is nice looking as well.

ruger

I don't know the year, I bought on line 2 months ago, it was advertised as new. But I'm not sure when it was made. I need to find a site to check the serial #.
