Just picked it up today. It is the stainless version with the NY compliant 10 round mags, ugh! Picked it up at Bass Pro Shops for $449. The cheapest in the area. All the other shops wanted well over $500. I'll let you all know how it shoots.

Great gun, I love mine and shoot it weekly. Never had a failure yet, over 4500 rounds, just started using reloads, still 0 problems. Almost no felt recoil, great for speed shooting, stays right on target. Best grip that I have felt on a poly gun. Have fun.

| No I don't, no ccw in Illinois, but because of the slimness of it, I would imagine it would work pretty well.

Why get a SR9 if you are limited to 10rds. A XD Sub-compact, baby glock or some other gun would be way more concealable.

My hand is way too big for those grips. It's hard for me to shoot a gun with 2 fingers. Besides, if you need 17 rounds to fight off an attacker you need more practice.

The OP said he was limited to 10 by state law.

Yeah several states have the 10 round limit. That makes most of the new pistols with high cap capabilities kinda useless to pay the extra money for. My CCW holds 5 |
