Ruger LCR

I didn't see any threads regarding the new Ruger LCR snubbies. I picked one up last week and made a range trip on Friday. Long story short, it may be the best pocket gun ever made. The 13.5 ounce weight is only part of the story. The trigger is the smoothest out of the box short barreled revolver I have ever shot, and I have owned more than a few. The design of the little gun makes felt recoil of 38 +P loads easily manageable. Stick it in the pocket of your jeans and you won't know it's even there. This should be a huge winner for Ruger.

I've not tried one, but if the trigger is as good as my SP101, I know what you mean. Its actually funny. My mom gets all mad when I rag on her S&W's crappy trigger. Ruger did something right when they made their DA revolver trigger.

I was at the range today and there were 4 local cops buying them for off duty carry, they said their department was endorsing them. If we had concealed carry here I would look into one.

Love mine. Shots great once you get used to it. Ran about 250 rds through it at the range. Thats all the ammo I had at the time. Good luck finding more for a while.
