Haven't seen one, but if you plan to shoot it rather than make it a collectors item, go with the cheapest option.

Pretty cool actually. I do not care for thumb hole stocks personally, and that rifle looks about twice the price as a stock 10/22. Bear in mind that those laminated thumb hole stocks are incredibly overpriced and if you had to buy one and put it on you would not be far off the asking price of that.

Do you know if they are exceptionally accurate? If they come standard with a handpicked target barrel and you like the stock I would go for it.

They come with the neat clear plastic / see thru magazine. I wold not call that a big selling point that should seal the deal, but I really like the ruger rotary magazine. The see-thru one is cool just like the visible man model I built as a kid.

Well, if you can handle it you should check out the

trigger. If it is not to your liking buy a regular gun, buy a top quality aftermarket trigger, and glass bed it from the rear of the receiver to the front of the stock.

For around $500, it's easier than putting one together yourself...and it LOOKS cool. AND it supports the Olympic Shooting Team, for that reason alone, it's worth it!!

B'sides, how do you beat the Red, White, & Blue stock?? YA CAN'T!!

Only question I have is...do they shoot as good as a $1000 build-it-yourself??

I have one. It is what it is. It is a fun toy for the bench and a good starting point for a mid-grade target semi auto. The chamber is not a full on target chamber. The trigger is about 3# to my uneducated finger. The mag release is just a standard 10/22 and the bolt stop/release is standard issue also. It has not been slicked up internally in any meaningful way. I've had a lot of fun with mine but if I was looking to put all my bullets through a single caliber hole this would not be the gun I'd choose.

You can build a better shooter for the same money. I recall reading that the Ruger Target barrel does NOT have a match chamber.
