Ruger LCR

I finally got to fondle one in the gun shop today. Seems like the perfect pocket pistol. They wanted just a tad more than $500 which isn't too bad in my opinion. Also, the trigger pull was just as wonderful as my SP101 and Security Six.

Now I just got to figure out how to get the wife to let me have one.

Last time I checked, they weren't legal in California yet. They have to go through a drop test to get on the 'list' here. It's only a couple hundred bucks, but Ruger seems a little casual about getting and keeping their stuff California legal. Like we aren't the most populous state in the Union, and like one [bleep]ing sale won't make them their money back...

I have been eyeing one since they came out in the magazines. Now that I hear posative things from people who actually own and shoot one I like the idea even more. Riverview Gun Sales has them on sale now for $429.00

Is that price with the CT laser grips, seems a little high if not. $430 w/o around here.

Thats about the same price at my local shop, I'm lucky I won't have to pay shipping. I'm thinking of picking up 2 also, one for me and one for the night stand for the wifes side of the bed. Hows the recoil on those little guys?
