Exclamation Ruger p94

Hi ya'll, I have been lookin' at a ruger p94 in .40cal. It's a nice lookin' gun, it's in two-tone gray finish w/ Hogue grips. I think it's the best lookin' model Ruger pistol I've seen. It's got the factory box and two 10 round mags. It's supposedly only been fired 20 times and I believe it by the looks of it. My question is, I haven't found very much about this model in the Web and there's not much accesories for them. Very few holster makers have a holster to fit it and I can't find anyplace that sell the mags. I guess 10-round mags are the only kind they make, no hi-caps? Has anyone here shot/owned one? 375$ cash is what they're asking.

I don't own a P94, but I have a P97 in 45 ACP. The Ruger mags are common between models. A 40S&W mag for one Ruger pistol will fit any other Ruger 40S&W pistol.

I think the P94 and P97 are similar, so the holsters for one may fit the other. Check out Grafs or Natchez for holsters. they usually have a good selection.

I didn't even know there was such a thing as a P94. I have a P95.

they are a solid gun and the only 40 ruger has at the moment. It proved to be more popular than the ruger p-91 which was slightly larger. The 91 (ruger's 1st 40) fell by the wayside but the 94 stayed in production.

Hogue makes some rubber type finger groove grips for them that are nice. I believe they also still have some wood options.

From memory, once upon a time there might had been an 11 round mag but it disappeared during the clinton days and never came back. 10 rounders for this model are the norm. Big believer in staying with the factory mags and avoid after-markets.

Several outfits carry some things for the ruger. Midway USA is usually a good choice such as here for the mags
http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/Brow...1341***8904***

and here for holsters
http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/Brow...659***11234***

ruger's on-line store should also have the mags and a few options as well.

My opinion, $375 for LNIB with 2 mags is good.....especially as nutty as the market is nowadays.
