I agree. But I am a first time/ new home buyer. This would just be some extra cash. I do have another .22 but its a single shot bolt action. I am not fond of selling my guns trust me. There are some that will never leave me till im gone.
I agree with everyone else who say "DON'T SELL IT" but if you must sell it try gunbroker or also Cheaper Than Dirt has a free on line auction. I had a 9MM Cobra Patriot that someone from there gave me $370 for. I put it on the auction page thinking I might get $250 since they are about $300 brand new. This one only had a couple hundred rounsds shot and was in mint condition but was still a Cobra. $370 plus they paid me $35 to ship it.
Try to keep it! Based on the info in your post it's about 325.00 unless you've got some trigger work and or other amenities like auto bolt release, bolt buffer, extended mag release etc. Then add at least 50.00.
The way some people are acting, take it to a gun show and put $450 on it. You should sell it right away. If not, keep it. A friend of mine went to the Medina Ohio gun show and people were throwing money at guns left and right.
It is a very hard pill to swallow when a person learns all sorts of expensive add ons and custom work seldom translates into cost recovery when selling or trading in a gun.
Just remember the custom work you do is almost always just for your benefit and enjoyment.
If you do sell it, you won't be able to replace it for that price. Just something to think about. And if you're selling it to get another gun, 17hmr is the way to go. I love mine! 3/4 inch group at 100 yards off the bench. Clover leaf at 100 yards with a gun vise.
