Is the new Hornady .45 Colt ammo safe in my New Vaquero?

I picked up some of the new Hornady Lever Revolution ammo the other day just because it was unusual, and I was wondering if it is safe to shoot in my New Vaquero? The listed muzzle velocity on the box is 980 fps which seems to be on the fast side for a cowboy six-shooter, but man do these cartridges look cool in a revolver cylinder. It's like looking down the business end of a miniature missile battery!

I know the New Vaquero is built on a smaller frame, so I would do some checking around before loading those babies in it. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable will come along.

UPDATE: From what I can read online, Ruger has stated that the New Vaquero can handle any Industry Standard load. One guy has done extensive testing with the lower end of the "Ruger and T/C Only" loads in this pistol and hasn't seen any abnormal wear.

You probably need to see what pressure those rounds you have are working at.

I just got off the phone with Hornady, and the guy (Mat) said that they are safe to shoot in any modern pistol to include the NV and the Judge.
