Good day - I am thinking about buying a small centerfire for cyotes and cans. Probably either a 22-250 or a 204 ruger. What do you who have fired and owned a 204 think (in your opinion) of this round?
It's a great caliber and fun to shoot. Ammo is pretty easy to find (at least where I have looked) and it's around the same price as 22-250. More and more rifles are being chambered for the caliber which opens up your options. I have a CZ 527 and it's an extremely accurate rifle. You will be happy with it if you buy one. Ofcourse you really can't go wrong with a 22-250 either.
Thanks for the feedback. I think I have a guy wanting to trade a new like new Ruger ultra light for my Thompson Center TC83 and his rifle is chambered in 223. This may be too good a deal to pass up!
