| i was just wondering
i have a security six- 6 inch barrel-357 and i was wondering what you sighted your pistol in at for at what yardage.

Depends on what I'm using it for. 25 yard max on a .357 if you aren't hunting with it. Jim |

50 yards is max from what I've heard about a .357 on deer. I'd use a red dot scope, but I'm old and I need all the help I can get! Jim |

7 yrds for defence. 40yrds for hunting. The 357 will take down deer at 50yrds but you MUST practice, practice, practice! If you can't put 6 shots in a 10" circle at 50yrds, then move the target closer until you can. That'll be the range you'll take your deer.

Hornady leverevoultion. Speed/Energy, Muzzle 50 yards 150 yards. Trajectory Muzzle 50 100 150.. Hope this helps. You need to be on your game to shoot deer.... 357 Mag 140 gr. FTX (Handgun)1440/644 1274/504 1143/406 1049/342 -0.9 2.2 0.0 -8.9

i want to thank you for your replies; I can hit a 8 inch target at 100 yd. THESE TARGETS DONT RUN i reload my own bullets and i shoot 158 grain J H P using 7.6 grains of bullseye.
