Thanks for the help, guys, somehow I got locked out of the forum and couldn't get back in till today. To explain a bit: The standard Ruger grips on the KBN-36 are small for my hands, I have a S&W with the Pachmayer on it, and like it a lot. I checked out the Pachmayr and finally got an answer back from them, saying that they didn't have anything. Also checked with Hogue, as the design of their grips looked like it was longer. but they said theirs won't fit due to the New Model having the lockable action, and their grips didn't have a way to access the lock with the grips installed. The Ruger owner manual says to drill a hole in the right grip for lock access, and I was wondering why I couldn't do the same on the Hogue grips, never have held a Hogue grip, so I'm not sure if the design and composition of the Hogue grips would lend itself to this or not, any help is appreciated. I'll take another look at the Pachmayr Presentation, too and see if it could be modified. For that matter, wonder if the other Pachmayrs could be modified too. thanx olcop Last edited by olcop; 11-04-2009 at 07:42 AM. Reason: correct spelling, all info |
