Ruger LCR two thumbs up!

The more I shoot the LCR the more I like it. I have to admit when I first held it in my hand it felt kind of cheap. Especially compared to the GP100's I'm used to shooting. Then I shot it and man did I fall in love fast. I love this little gun and the accuracy is better than I expected it to be. The below target was shot at 7 yards with my unskilled hands. Yes the flier was all me or my hand loads. I'm sure some of you out there could do much better. 10 shots BBWC 148 grain, titegroup 3.1 grains, C.O.L. 1.320.

Well done Pontiac! .380 ammo is still hard to find in OK, great that you roll your own.

I think your thinking of the LCP .380. The LCR is the snub nose .38 special. Thanks for the compliment.

Nothing wrong with that kind of shooting at all, those little revolvers can be a challenge to shoot accurately.

Thanks for the post--my LCR has worked very well for me. It carries really well especially with lighter clothing during the hot TX summers. Originally I had trouble seeing the front sight (like most Rugers) so painted it red; later fixed the XS big dot which was a dramatic improvement.

Just got my LCR. Any holster recommendations? Thinking OWB, never could get used to IWB.
