I hope that I don't regret selling my one and only M995 2 weeks ago. I bought the gun last fall and fell in love with that all black look. I didn't care on hauling it around the woods for miles and miles and I already had another rifle in .270, so I made the decision to trade it for of all things a Polish Tantal. Where I live, hunting rifles are dime a dozen, but the AK's and AR's are a rare thing. Time will tell if I made the right choice. To quote Steve: "But I LOVE the 3 forward locking lugs, the 60 degree bolt travel, and the detached magazine !! " I'll own another Sako for sure. |

Jjake - Try to reach them at one of these links. Explain in clear detail what it is you are trying to find and why you are contacting them due to inability to get any help from Beretta. They should be able to help you. Tell them that Beretta just doesn't care about 4 screws in this case. Let me/us know what you find out. Tom Correction after posting - I don't think either of these links will help. You might as a last resort - write them and explain your problem and hope they send you the screws. They might. Be clear....they speak fluent English. Their address is on the link. Tom www.sako.fi www.sakosuomi.fi Last edited by FortyXDM; 01-22-2009 at 01:24 AM. |

FortyXDM - Good idea, I'll give it a try. Worst that can happen is they say "no". In the interim, one of the gunsmiths that I contacted said he would ask his Sako Rep; which I suppose could just be the Benelli Rep. Mayber the two pronged approach will provide a result. I just a comment for others that may be looking for something similar for their rifle. Three of the gunsmiths have recommended I look at the automotive parts supply or hardware store. I have checked Lowes, Home Depot, PepBoys, Ace none of which carried the M4x0.5. But your local shops may be different. Good luck, |

You might find them here: Screws- SmallParts.com Additionally, on an outside bet, LCD flat panel monitors have about 40 of these screws in them. So a visit to a computer repair shop might be fruitful.
