| Where to buy Tikka T3 Lite First time here, I'm looking for a good deal in the Pearland, Houston area for a Tikka t3 stainless synthetic. How much are people paying for this gun and please don't forget to name the store of purchase. I've heard good things about this gun and would like a 270 or 25/06. Thanks for any info. |

gunsamerica, gunbroker and auctionarms all have T3s on for sale right now, just get an FFL dealer to go thru. I just got me a 6.5 x 55 my dealer found in Alabama gunshop. I should be getting it thursday 22ns, boresighted and shooting pigs this weekend. I dont know much about the caliber, the make, just know I had to have one, it is brand new and the price was about $640 plus shipping etc.

Felix - Sounds to me like a very good deal. That round is very poplular in Sweden and Finland. Those Finn boys know their rifles....probably better than any country in the world. They kept the Rooskies at bay during the Winter war and Continuation war with basically nothing but rifle fire. Simo Hayha, a Finn scored more than 500 kills in the first three months of the war. The soviets called him "Belaya Smjert" - The White Death. He is a national hero in Finland. The Finnish pride shows in their rifles. Tom |

44mag - A hunting buddy of mine purchased a T3 Laminated Stainless (243 Win) earlier this season up at Tomball Pawn. Basically on the other side of Houston from you but it is an option. I believe he paid $600 plus tax. He is shooting 95gr Federal Fusion and been very happy with it. The Fusion and Federal Premium seem to shoot the best in his rifle. A couple of his 100yrd - 3 shot groups appear to be around 1/2" (I did not measure but the holes were close to touching). Good luck, |

I got my T3 lite stainless Friday afternoon, mounted a 3x9x40 Leupold on it, boresigted that same night and saturday evening laid down a #200 boar (plus or minus) I fired 10 shots to shoot in, the last 3 were all in the bull at 100 yds. I usually dont shoot much further than 200 yds. on my leases unless I go to South Texas. the recoil with 140 gr. Hornady Custom SPs was nil. I loved the smoothness of the bolt, the feel of the rifle, it is so light (good name for it) my 7-08 and .308 have been moved back a spot in my safe. I plan on getting another T3, either in .308 or .25-06 soon. helluva rifle, so many pigs, so little time. it was not easy to find this rifle. I traded a good .308 Savage and a few bucks for it and I think I made a hell of a deal.
