You don't say which one.If it is 'classic grade' thats pushing the limit.Sounds ok for the others and a real buy for some.I really don't consider scopes,especially on rifles that show rough use unless they are fairly high dollar brand name. sam.

It's a A III. That's all I found on it besides the serial # and the caliber.

| Check the bore
Here is you key determiner. Most guns of this caliber get little shooting in reality even if they spend a lot of time in the woods. However, you do run across the occassional gun with a well worn bore. If the bore looks really great then I would go for it.

Steve - I am always a tad leery of "accurate built" rifles on the selling block. However, there are a kabillion reasons why people sell em. I agree with the above, if there is any way to give the bore a look-see, or better yet, shoot it, then you have the answer. If it will shoot like it should, I would say it is a good to vgood buy.
