Forester Super Deluxe 22-250

Just finished purchase of an L579 in 22-250. Paid $xxxx, but think I did OK. Seems to be in 98%+ shape, with no marking or issues with the high gloss blueing. Has a Leupold Vari-III 3.5 x 10 scope on Redfield mounts. Only problem that I see is that it is scarred with the "Garcia" under the barrel, but I still can't wait to shoot it. Anyone have comments??

If the rifling is good - the rifle is good. They are shooters and you should be quite happy. This gun was probably imported mid sixties to very early seventies when Garcia was the importer. Nothing to worry about there.
