| Sako A7 ~ Tikka T3??
If Tikka is the econo line of Sako, what's with the A7? I like the idea of the Sako 85, but not for $1500. $800 is more doable with the A7, but is it any better than the Tikka T3?

The A7 is the next generation after the 85. It has a new receiver style, and a different stock design. It would be interesting to set the two (A7 and Tikka) side by side to look at the tolerances and finish.

Anyone know if the A7 has the cheap magazine that the T3 has?

| Yes, we are really talking SAKO barrels on
different actions. Well, SAKO is either at the top of the pyramid or at least so close to it they pretty much set the price they want and watch the products get snapped up in the marketplace. So, I guess it is grin and bear it. If we want these products then we just have to fork it over. |
