| Date of man. 99F I just bought Hi All: I just purchased a 99f in 308. I have been looking for a 99 in 300 or 308 for 2 years and finally found what looks like a lifelong cabinet gun. I am wondering about when it was manufactured, the s/n is 1085xxx, tang safety, gold trigger, cartridge counter, steel or alum internal magazine plate and I am not sure if the checkering is pressed or hand, I am guessing pressed as to its perfection. If anyone has any guesses as to when this gun was made I would greatly appreciate it. |
