I have seen a lot of Savage 99 enthusiasts out there and I am hoping someone can give me some insight on this. I have a 99C lever action .308 that the magazine drops out of almost every time I fire a round. (Not very handy when tromping around in the bush.) There is a screw under the magazine release that I have tightened a couple of turns. (clockwise) Maybe made it worse. Any adjustment suggestions or other ideas?
