| savage 99 lever Hi , I recently inhereted a 99 in 300 sav. sn. 405511. I noticed the action lever does not return home fully back to the stock. It also does not return fully to enguage that little safty latch. Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated. This rifle is in beautiful cond. with an older Leupold 3x9 scope. I can't wait to reload for it....Rob |

| Wanted to ask more about the problems you described. Does the bolt not close when you chamber a round or just when you are closing the action?
