Savage - Model 10FP Choate

This is my first and I have a few questions.

How many rounds does the Model 10FP hold? Also, what is the best brand bullet and grain to use for this gun with a 1/10 twist? Thanks for your help.

4 rounds in the Magazine.

1/10 twist I believe that is .308, so to start off I would stay around the 150 grain. I have tried the 168 and the 165 grains but I always got better accuracy from the 150 grain in my rifle. So start there and try others to see what works best for you. As far as brands of factory ammo I prefer Remington, but I have had good luck with Winchester.

I reload, so I don't have lot of experience with factory ammo in my rifle.
