Stevens Savage Model 987

Does anyone know where I can get parts for my gun, (Stevens Savage Model 987 22LR) the little thing on the bolt that ejects the spent shell broke of so now if I try to use it hunting or anything, it will not kick the spent shell out correctly and it jams with the next round

Stevens Savage Model 987 as titled and numrich gun parts have no listings for the parts

I went to Welcome to Numrich Gun Parts Corp. and they only have a trigger and stock listed as available and I had called them last week and they said they would call me back if they had one in inventory, I need a part on the bolt that ejects the spent shell

I would even buy the complete bolt if I have to or more, been looking for another gun even for parts to fix mine as it is a very accurate gun for squirrel hunting, not too heavy to carry all day and easy to use, would hate to scrap it for such a tiny part!

I was informed the part I need is called the shell extractor, but would consider the complet bolt or parts gun if the part I need is good

Parts for a Savage Stevens 22 model 987

Hello Everyone...My first post is below as an answer to 987 22 owners with.

Hi...I have just obtained a 987 yesterday and need a new trigger guard....while checking the catalog from Numrich Gun Parts I have found that the parts for a 987 and their listing for a Savage Stevens 60-90 and a model 88 and some of the 980 series have the same parts...check them out .I am not sure but somehow the models are similar or the same even though the model numbers are different.. E-mail me if I can help more.

The Model 987 is a development of the earlier Savage/Stevens/Springfield Models 87 and 187 series rifles. Also the Savage Model 6, which started it all. There is a very good chance the bolt parts of these rifles will interchange with the 987. Generally the major changes were in stock and sights.
